Cookies with Santa & Suwannee River Lights

Sunday night we had cookies with Santa at Church.

 Amelia had no issue with telling Santa exactly what she is looking for.

 Avie wanted NO part of Santa, she was NOT happy to be up there...at all.  Of course when we got done all she could talk about was Santa.

 Last night we took the girls down to the Suwannee River lights.  They were excited.

 Apparently the lights wore Amelia out, she passed out on the way home.  Avie sang Rudolph....with some of her own not nice lyrics!!

 Here are some random pics from this past weekend.  The girls went to a friends western birthday party.

 Saturday was the motorcycle run. Swinging with Avie like this on a swing is DANGEROUS!!  She laid back, let go, stood up and made me nervous.

These are random but wanted to post.  The girls love to look through the pics!  Last week was Spirit week at school for Homecoming, Monday was superhero day....since we dont keep capes I made one.  I am so crafty, Amelia was the Peacekeeper!

 It was a satin pillow case and duct tape.  Apparently duct tape is HUGE in the crafting world and you can find all kind of patterns....who knew.

 I get all kinda gadgets at work that the girls freak out about.....so I bring this calculator home and Avie tells me she is texting on it...

 Amelia loves to download apps on my phone.....anyway....2 Avie's BE AFRAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Saturday was the Homecoming game at school.  They always have the younger girls cheer, this year they let them run out like the ballteams.  Amelia was SO EXCITED!!!!!  And then when all the fans on the front row had their hands out, she grinned from ear to ear.

 And the yucky bug has hit our house this season.  Avie has been sick since Saturday night, this morning she has a 101.3 fever.  Hopefully she will bounce back soon!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has come and gone.  The girls had a great week with Daddy...and we did lots of eating!

We worked outside.  Avie loves hot chocolate!!

 I ran my first official 5k on Thanksgiving.  My time was 31:55....I have room for improvement.  I am doing another on Saturday.

 Amelia picked up lots of pecans, no she did not steal them!!  So Pop helped her crack them all....and then I had the joy of picking them all out!!

 again don't even ask......I will NEVER go to Walmart again the day after Christmas....Toys R Us was much more organized and not chaotic.....the people in Walmart.....no comment!!  Abby and I were scared so we hid in the pharmacy.

 We bought a fire pit for the dec and roasted hot dogs and made smores.

 Papa and Bevy gave us our Christmas present eary, season passes to Wild Adventures so we spent Saturday there.
