Both girls went to the ENT today, Avie's ears looked fined go back in 6 months. Dr L had to cauterize some vessels in Amelia's nose....DRAMA!!!! He said she had several right on the surface, she has to go back in 3 weeks.
Avie turned 16 months this week. She is getting so big!!! She can do all kind of great things, like climb on and off the couch, open cabinets with locks on them, pick up micro things off the floor, get out of the belts in her carseat, hide sippy cups with milk in them in places you would never think of....that is our fave thing!!
I am growing her hair out, but she refuses to wear bows or barrettes she just pulls them right out. However she did not get this ponytail holder out!!
She discovered UGA she is going in for the kiss here. (I thought of you Shannon)
We were finally talk Amelia out of wearing these shoes to Church....
They both go to the ENT today, Avie for her ears and Amelia for the nose bleeds. We have had a busy week. Avie was sick all day last Sunday...her tummy again.

On Monday Amelia went for her check up. She weighed 41 pounds. She jumped quite a bit on the growth chart and is now at 24%. She is 43 inches tall, I can not remember the % on that but Dr M did say she did not move much there.
Monday night Amelia had to harvest her garden, this was the first picking. We got 4 cherry tomatoes. They were very good, on Wednesday we got another one.
On Thursday Avie had her ear tube follow up. I told the Dr she had been pulling and messing with one of her ears. There is some dried blood blocking the tube, which I think defeats the purpose. He gave some cleaning instructions, which grossed me out and we have to go back in one week.
They have these sculpture all over, which Avie loved.....and kissed.
Of course Amelia wanted to ride this lion which is right next to the biggest tallest one....that I had to hold Avie on.
On the way home Amelia had another nose bleed, somewhere on I10, which does not have the best (cleanest) choices to stop in. We were able to get it stopped pretty quick, then she rode like she had a broke neck the rest of the way.Kev, Lori and CharChar dropped the two big dogs off with their grandparents since they are going out of town. They came and ate Saturday night. Avie was so funny on the couch with her she kept patting her head and pointing at her. Pretty soon though Charlee wanted no more of it....
Avie was sick on Sunday...went through several diapers AND outfits!! Hopefully she is just cutting another tooth, we have been dealing with this for almost a month. She will run fever have a bad tummy, but then be fine. She has cut one of her I-teeth and the other bottom tooth....
My exercise goal for July (and january, Feb, March, Apr, and June) was to walk a total of 50 miles....well I finally did it. In July I walked 60.3 miles.
My goal for August is to do 30 day shred on M,W,F and walk at least the other 3 days, as soon as Avie goes to bed I will be with Jillian. In may I grew to HATE her, 30 consecutive days of her is too much to stomach. I think I can tolerate her 3 days a week.....
