We made it back home, thank goodness. Amelia was very glad to see us!! Avie has been quite fussy since we got home, she has only taken regular Tylenol today, but I gave her Tylenol w/codeine tonight so hopefully she can rest peacefully...and we can too.
Avie did so well today, the nurses said she was the best pallett patient they ever had, she is such a star!! Just wanted to post a few pics for Memae, Avie sure misses her Big Sis!!!!

After surgery, and morphine, she drank a bottle. This was about 2.5 hrs after surgery and right after they gave her a shot of morphine. So far she has done very well, hopefully that will continue through the night.
Avie is 6 months old today!!! So I decided to go get her pic made. On a sidenote you would think that I, as the second child, would have made better attempt at having her picture made as much as I had Amelia's made, but that has not happened.
She did ok at first and soon lost interest, keep in mind that where I went moves at a snail pace so she was quite happy and content when we go there.....
Had to get one in the costumes, I did not think to bring something for Amelia's hair. Her eye, we think she has a lazy one, was giving her big problems this morning. Luckily she has an appt the week after next.
A couple of weeks ago we got a new microwave, the kind that goes above the stove. So when Donald took the fan down this is what we found. Three decades of wallpaper.
Donald still has to paint the back wall, he claims he cannot find the paint in the garage....

Last night was the Fall Festival at school, had to be moved in the gym b/c of the torrential rain.
They had a karaoke booth, which was ok until I had heard the little kids sing Best of Both worlds about 1,866,784,756 times........Then there was this Motley Crue...singing Delta Dawn.

Then Amelia and Jenna talked Morgan and another girl into singing with them.
Surgery is Tuesday the 28th on Atlanta.
They have not said she will be off a bottle afterwards, I would assume not since she will only be 6 months old.
Talked to the hospital her surgery time is 1:55 ....they said to come earlier than usual and they may be able to start early. That is such a long time without eating, I am going to get some apple juice tonight so she will be use to drinking it. She can have no formula after 12am only clear liquids until 4 hours prior to surgery.
Tonight Bev, Amelia and I went to visit Brecken. Let me just say she is the smallest baby I have ever held. Compared to her Avie is a big fat cow!! Everything about her is tiny, but she does have a good loud cry. Please dont mind how I look, I did wear all my good clothes to visit, thankfully I had taken my pretty jacket off.
She has the prettiest skin color and hair.
Then there are these 2 crazy girls, they did get in a little spat over a pink balloon that had lost most of its air....
First, I got good advice on the rash on Avie's face, below has worked wonders.

They called me right back on Wednesday and said they had looked at her cardiac report and we will be good just to meet the morning of the surgery:)
Brecken made her entrance around 12:45, she is so cute and so tiny. I just sent Terri some more pics so check her blog, she already had a couple up. Please keep Brecken in your prayers over the next couple of days as they run test on her kidneys. Also Melis, I saw her tonight, she probably will not remember though....but since she saw me in my finest drugged state I decided to return the favor.
Also....Avie has a TERRIBLE rash on her neck, actually it starts on her jaw line and goes mid chest. I think it is from the super amount of drooling she has been doing and her neckline staying so damp, I mean lets face it she kinda has some rolls so that drool gets caught in there. we have been using Desitin and trying to keep her shirt off as much as possible so it can air out....if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
I guess I will make my weekly call to CHOA tomorrow about the pre anesthesia visit, last week when I called they claimed they did not have Avie's cardiac clearance, which I know was sent to them and the craniofacial center and the Dr's office all has, but I told the lady I had it scanned in my system at work and I would be glad to send to her right then, she said she would have the Nurse review and let me know.....still waiting to hear. I just do not want to get a call next Thursday saying they need to see her on Friday...I am just ready for this to be behind us!!!

Melissa came over this afternoon so Kayden and Amelia could play, she is SO ready for Baby Brecken. Please remember her on Tuesday when Brecken makes her grand entrance we can not wait to meet her:)Today was tacky day at school. Amelia was thrilled b/c she wore 2 different shoes and socks.

This is a pic of Avie's cleft, a lot of people have asked what it looks like, where it is at or how big it is and since we are fixing to get it closed up I wanted a pic of it...weird I know but it has been a part of her for as long as we have known her.
So Friday was Anna aka The 'Lil Terrorist birthday. In honor of that, and her age 2, I will post 2 things about her:
1. She LOVES bebe aka Avie. She LOVES to hold and kiss her, sometimes, well for that matter most of the time I do not think the feeling is mutual.
2. She LOVES meme aka Amelia. She loves to say over and over again, Hi meme.

I also went and "rocked the vote" today. In Georgia they started early voting a couple of weeks ago and it goes through the end of October. Since I DO NOT like to wait in line and not sure what will be going on election day this was the best choice for me. Today we took the girls to the park, we made a stop at the donut store first so Amelia could get her chocolate covered ones. Avie loved being outside and watching everything around her.
