We're half way there...........

Ok don't ask me where I am looking in this pic I was probably mid sentence when Donald took the picture. We are 20 weeks today so technically half way there, although the Dr has already said I will be scheduled at least 2 weeks before my due date. This pic is just funny I was outside our laundry room door and Mimae was playing with her kitchen.

I am off today and tomorrow again, thank goodness. I told Donald I could get used to 4 day weekends and 3 day work weeks, I wonder if VIS would go for that........yea right!!!

Amelia's new room

This is Amelia's new room before we started. This is Amelia "helping" Donald paint.

AND NOW................FINALLY.......................THE NEW ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and yes we know it is VERY PINK!!!!!!!!!

The best part of the whole room and the part Donald and I are most jealous of is the closet. Our house was built in the 70's so closet space is not in abundance, but Donald put in this shelf system and it made the closet have SO MUCH ROOM!!! Amelia especially loves the shoe holder at the bottom.

The only downside is all the junk that was in this room has now been moved to her old room, however we will start there next.

Christmas

On Monday night we had Christmas with Papa and Bev. Here Anna is eating a present, I am sure not her's she was only interested in Amelia's, and Amelia DID NOT like that.

And of course the annual family photo, we added Patrick this year (Bev's brother) Anna was terrified of him, she would see him and run as fast as she could to anyone she could.

Then we left to go back home, Amelia had to put the key out for Santa since we do not have a chimney.

Then she had to sprinkle out her reindeer dust she made at school.

Then she had to get Santa;s cookies and chocolate milk ready to leave on the table.

Then finally it was Christmas morning, she first woke up about 5 and came to our bed and said Well did he come or not, and took off to the front room. We caught her before she went in and told her she had to wait until the sun came up before she could go in. So we went back to bed until about 7:30.

She has a terrible cough which we have been doctoring with Triaminic and Robitussin so hopefully it will clear up so we can avoid the doctor, but it is not looking too good. We are almost done with her room just have to hang the stuff on the wall and then tackle the closet. We've gotten most of the junk out of the closet and hopefully I will have time tomorrow to go to Lowe's and get one of those closet systems. So I promise BILLYE, I will have pictures maybe by the end of the week.

More Christmas

On Saturday we had dinner at Ann & Louie's with everyone. Donald got Amelia these glasses.

Sunday after Church we had Dawkins x-mas. Kevin & Lori were here so of course Amelia was excited.

Amelia got Ming-Ming the duck from the Wonder Pets.

Kevin got some pretty pink gloves.....

Amelia liked getting in the new suitcase I got, it was definitely big enough for her.

Hopefully I will be able to show the finished pics of Amelia's new room soon. Donald is working in there now, with help for Amelia so I am sure not much is getting done. we have Christmas tonight with my parents and then FINALLY Santa is coming tonight.

Christmas with Granny

Last night we had Christmas with Granny. Amelia was glad she was finally able to open presents, whether they were for her or not. Now for some reason I got one picture of Amelia, none of Abby, and about 15 of Anna. The reason is she likes to say cheese, as seen below.

The doc called yesterday and my appointment in Macon is jan 21 at 12:30.
